In this exhibition we are showing major works that Matsui has created from his debut to recent years along with new work installed in the Gallery. It is naturally impossible to obtain a total image of this artists œuvre from the works appearing in this exhibition, which make up less than a tenth of his total output so far. The works shown here, however, were personally selected and installed by the artist with careful consideration given to the mutual relationship between the works, as well as the relationship to the exhibition spaces.
